Pepperdine School of Law Celebrates Commencement 2007

Pepperdine School of Law welcomes friends and family to Pepperdine's Alumni Park for the commencement ceremony of the Class of 2007 on Friday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. in Malibu, California.

The ceremony promises a distinctive celebration of the achievements of the Class of 2007, and will feature students, faculty, and distinguished alumni and guests. Graduate Christina Royce will sing the national anthem, and graduate Ezra Landes will give the student speech. The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to Katherine K. Freberg, who leads the law offices of Freberg and Associates, which she founded in 1995.

The commencement address will be given by the Honorable Johnnie Blakeney Rawlinson, who sits on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In taking the oath of office on July 26, 2000, Judge Rawlinson became the first African American woman to sit on the Ninth Circuit.

Directly following the commencement ceremony, a reception will be held in Alumni Park for all attendees.
