Michael Helfand's Writing Selected for the Yale, Harvard, and Stanford Junior Faculty Forum

Michael Helfand's article, Litigating Religion, was selected for presentation at the Junior Faculty Forum (formerly the Stanford/Yale Junior Faculty Forum), an event sponsored by the Yale, Harvard and Stanford Law Schools. The Junior Faculty Forum has been convened for the past 13 years and each year, papers selected for the Junior Faculty Forum are reviewed and evaluated by a committee of scholars. This year only 17 papers were selected for presentation at the two-day event held June 2-3.

Robert Cochran Publishes Louis D. Brandeis's MIT Lectures on Law (1892-1894)

Robert Cochran, director of The Herbert and Elinor Nootbaar Institute on Law, Religion, and Ethics, and Louis D. Brandeis Professor of Law, has published Louis D. Brandeis's MIT Lectures On Law (1892-1894), a book of edits to Brandeis's lectures during his time as a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Published by the Carolina Academic Press in April, the book was five years in the making.

Pepperdine professor of law and Caruso Family Chair in Constitutional Law Douglas W. Kmiec has published Lift Up Your Hearts, a faith based book focusing primarily on reflections from his past and current roles in politics, and the climate of today's political campaigns.

Peter Wendel Awarded Honorary Doctorate From University of Augsburg

Pepperdine professor of law Peter Wendel has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Augsburg School of Law in Germany for his years of service as a visiting professor.
