What Can the Librarians Do For Your Law Class?

The Law Library offers a number of services in support of faculty teaching efforts. Contact your library liaison for any of the following services:

  • In-class instruction on legal research topics, both general or subject specific;
  • In-library instruction on legal research topics, both general or subject specific;
  • Development of bibliographies or research guides for specific topics;
  • Tours of the Law Library; and
  • Student training in the use of electronic resources.

In-class or in-library presentations may include the use of PowerPoint presentations or subject-specific guides. Talk to your library liaison about the type of presentation you would like for your class.

Note: Presentations, particularly those involving PowerPoint presentations and guides, require advance notice so that your liaison has time to prepare.
