Beginning Fall 2008, the Law Library is pleased to offer Educational Technology services and support. The Educational Technology Services Librarian works together with the Information Services (IS) team to support and assist Pepperdine law faculty in using a variety of educational technology tools, including:
Westlaw's TWEN program provides a safe, convenient, and easily-accessible location for your class materials. If you are ready to use TWEN for your classes, but not sure how to get started, we can walk you through the process of setting up courses and uploading materials. If you are an experienced TWEN user, and want to learn more about TWEN's more advanced features, we can help with that as well.
Microsoft Office includes a number of helpful resources. We can train you how to use them effectively, regardless of your current level of technological expertise. Do you want to use Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in your classes? We have extensive PowerPoint experience and can teach you how to create effective and professional-looking presentations. Did you recently upgrade to Office 2007? Are you now wondering where Microsoft hid all the helpful features? We'll help you solve that mystery!
CALI has computer-based tutorials to help students review what they learn in class and prepare for exams. To learn more about CALI, you can explore the CALI website. Contact us for information about CALI passwords, and to get CDs for offline access to lessons.
