Typical costs associated with attending Pepperdine's Summer London Program include tuition, books, room and board, an activity fee and personal travel and entertainment-related expenses. Tuition is charged on a per-unit basis and is set at the same rate as Pepperdine's normal per-unit cost for the preceding spring semester. Housing is available, at the option of the student, on a pre-arranged "flat fee" basis for the summer session (see below). Book costs vary by class and travel and entertainment expenses can vary considerably by student.
The activity fee is new and covers guides, Parliament Tour, Legal London Tour, London bus tour, Opening Week Dinner, a theatre event, Afternoon Tea, and a dinner at one of the Inns of Court. The view was that these events really enhance a student's London experience and that having them included allows loans, grants, scholarships to cover the costs so that students are not missing out on special activities while in London.
The following represents a cost estimate for a student taking four (4) units during the summer session (enrollment in four units is used for illustration purposes only). Please note that these are estimates solely for basic costs and do not include costs for local transportation while in London and travel/entertainment costs. Also, these numbers do not represent the maximum amount of available loan assistance for the summer (actual financial aid amounts are greater). Tuition and books will, of course, vary depending on the number of units taken. Also, please note that other than tuition, the actual costs for London-related items such as board, room, transportation, etc. may be less (or more) depending on foreign currency exchange rates.

If you are planning to attend both the summer and fall programs you will need to submit a separate $50 application deposit for each term.
This deposit can be paid via the Student Services section of WaveNet. The $50 application deposit will be applied toward tuition.
