By giving blood you can save lives and change not only somebody else's life but also your own. Pepperdine Law School and City of Hope would like to encourage you to donate in a friendly and familiar environment.
Your participation will also automatically enter you into a drawing for two tickets to a Lakers or a Kings game to watch from a private suite at the Staples Center. Game tickets are graciously sponsored by the firm of Parker Mills Morin LLP.
Donor qualifications:
- You must be at least 17 years of age.
- You must weigh at least 110 pounds.
- You are required to bring a picture ID and State issued Driver's License, passport or Social Security card.
Reasons for ineligibility:
- Have had a cold or flu symptoms 2 days prior to donation or do not feel well on the day of the donation.
- Have had a tattoo, ear or skin piercing, in the past 12 months.
- If you have taken antibiotics in the last 48 hours.
- Have had major dental work in the last 24 hours (Crown, Root Canal, or Gum Surgery).
- If you have had Hepatitis after the age of 11 years old.
