Reciprocity
Pepperdine Students & Alumni:
Pepperdine law students and alumni, if searching for employment outside of Southern California, can request to use the career office of another university's law school. To do so, please send your contact information along with the name and contact information of the law school you would like to visit to Mireille Butler at . We will then send a letter of introduction and request reciprocal services on your behalf.
Law Students & Alumni Of Other Schools:
The Career Development Office (CDO) at Pepperdine University School of Law will allow selected resources to be used by law students and alumni of other ABA-accredited law schools in accordance with the following:
- All requests must be in writing from the law student or his/her law school's career office at least one week in advance of the intended visit;
- No walk-in requests will be honored;
- Reciprocity is a privilege granted by Pepperdine University School of Law--the CDO reserves the right to refuse to grant reciprocity at any time;
- Reciprocity will be granted to those from ABA-accredited law schools that allow Pepperdine law students and graduates to use their facilities;
- Non-Pepperdine students must have a copy of the letter granting reciprocity with them on every visit to Pepperdine University School of Law's Career Development Office; and
- Pepperdine University School of Law's Career Development Office will communicate with the requesting school only, but will send a copy of the grant or denial to the requestor, if that information is provided.
Reciprocity will not be available from August 1st through December 1st
Reciprocity visitors may review resource lists, directories, reference material, general information and selected handouts. Services not available under Reciprocity Grant are as follows:
- Career counseling and on-campus interviewing/recruiting; and
- Access to Pepperdine's online job database.
