Dear Friends,

School of Law Dean Kenneth W. Starr

This has been quite a year for Pepperdine University School of Law. We are the fastest rising law school in the country and continue to gain momentum. This year alone, we hosted four current or former United States Supreme Court Justices (O'Connor, Scalia, Thomas and Alito). Our July, 2008 California Bar passage rate was the fourth-highest in the state at 89%, and our out-of-state passage rate was 100% (32 of 32). We also just learned that our passage rate on the February, 2009 exam was the highest of any law school in California. And the future looks even brighter - this past fall, we enrolled the most academically qualified class of students in our school's history, and we will welcome an even more academically qualified class this coming fall.

The wave of success is due in large part to the generosity of our alumni and friends. To help us continue this wave, I urge you to participate in our "Waves of Giving" 30-Day Challenge. Our goal is to receive 300 individual gifts before our fiscal year closes on July 31. As an added incentive to support the law school today, gifts made before July 31 will be subject to a matching program that will serve to multiply the size of your gift. Giving to Pepperdine can be accomplished quickly and securely by clicking here or by clicking the Give Now button above. I also encourage you to revisit this website to track our progress throughout the 30-Day Challenge.

Please help keep the momentum going and participate in this program before July 31st. Thank you for your consideration, your generosity, and your continued friendship.
