TRANSFER Application Submission/Review Process

Applications submitted electronically are mailed from the LSAC to the Office of Admissions. Therefore, all applicants must allow 2 - 3 weeks from the time of transmission to the time of processing, whether the application was submitted electronically or through the mail.

A CAS report will be requested once the application is processed. Since the requested CAS reports are also mailed from LSAC to the Office of Admissions, it takes an average of 2 - 3 weeks for the Office of Admissions to receive them. During peak application periods, the processing time may increase.

After all application components have been submitted and the application is complete, it could take approximately 4 - 6 weeks to be reviewed.  Decisions are made on a rolling basis, meaning that applications are reviewed in the order in which they become complete.

Please note that decision letters are sent to applicants via U.S. mail.
